Question
I have Mint Proof Sets from 1966 to 1994 as well as a Confederation 125 years set of quarters (1 quarter for each province and territory).  I'm trying to get an idea if they are worth anything.

Thank you and kind regards

Answer
Hi Kelly, Proof sets have been issued since 1981 and Proof-like sets since 1953. You would have to list all sets by type and date to get an idea of each ones value.
The 1992 quarter Proof sets may be worth about $100. Each coin contains .1734 of an ounce of silver.
You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison.
You might also try a library for copies of the Standard Catalog of World Coins, Coins of Canada, or Standard Catalogue of Canadian Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
