This looks like a 2 Kurush from Turkey. It s silver about the size of a dome. Can you identify date or other information.

Answer
Hi Fred, this Turkish 2 kurush is dated 1293 (1876AD) plus the regnal year 22 or 23 on the other side would make its year of mintage 1896 or 1897.
Japanese and Arabic numbers: http://userwebs.psknet.com/tbirde/Arabic_Jap.jpg
It should be 18 millimeters in diameter and would contain .0642 of an ounce of silver.
It may be worth about $2 with that amount of wear.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
p.s. Both pictures are upside down.
