Question
I have a 1788 Maryland (THE OLD LINE STATE)quarter and would like to know if it is worth anything?

Answer
Hi Deyon, I assume you mean you have one of the 50 State Quarters that features Maryland. Maryland became a state in 1788. The date the coin was issued is at the bottom of the same side, 2000. Unless it is like new from the bank it is worth 25 cents. If uncirculated (no wear) it may be worth about .50 depending on amount of collector demand.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Guidebook of United States Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
