Picture features a regal woman seated holding sheild and sword near a tree with also plough , hammer and anvil in foreground and ships steaming up river in backgroung.I would appreciate knowing if they are of value today.

Answer
Hi David, collector value of this 100 Mark note may be worth about $5 with heavy wear to around $15 with moderate wear to maybe $30 with no wear (uncirculated). The woman, Germania, symbolizes the country.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
