Hello Brad,
I've got a token with ( ships colonies & commerce ) on one side then on the back a ( tall ship with an early american flag on it with what looks like a mint mark W&B N.Y. ) I was wondring if this might be one of the rarer ones and what it might be worth?

Hi William, rather than give you my very limited knowledge on these Canadian tokens you might try this great link where someone else answered a similar question:

You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison.
You might also try a library for copies of Coins of Canada or Standard Catalogue of Canadian Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
