Question
My friend has a 1750 Ferdinandus VI DG Hisp REX Nomina, on the back it says: SEQUOR 1. He bought it 20 years ago in the Caribbean and he was wondering what the value was in today's  market. It is in very good condition.
Plus, he also has 2 identical Mexicanos Veinte pesos from 1959, what would they be worth?
Thank you so much for your anticipated reply.
Rhonda

Answer
Hi Rhonda, There were 1.17 million of the 1959 Mexican 20 Pesos coins minted 1959-71. This coin should weigh 16.6666 grams and would contain .4822 of an ounce of gold.
Current gold and silver values: http://www.kitco.com/market/ .
Collector value of each may be worth about $600 depending on amount of wear and collector demand.
The 1750 piece sounds like a replica or souvenir. If you have clear pictures (not over 1 megabyte each please) you can email them to me at tbirde@psknet.com.
