QuestionI have a 1934 100 dollar bill. It a series of 1934 C a number 8 in each corner Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. it shows no wear has a slight fold. Ser # H03503806A lower right corner by one of the 8s is D15. All of the corners is sharp no tears. I put it into a frame just wondering if its worth any thing to a collector.
p.s. where can you learn to grade paper money
AnswerHi Dan, Collector value of a note depends on date, denomination (face value), series letter or signature and condition, including amount of wear, any folds, tears or stains as well as collector demand. There have been so many made of these that only the uncirculated ones (no wear) have any significant value above face value, about $225. With wear it my me worth about $100-$150.
