Question
I have a  1904 3 konenkn coin in very good condition can you please advise if there is any point hanging on to it or should I drop it in the airport foreign coins box for charity?

Many thanks

Julia

Answer
Hi Julia, There were 6.9 million of these Russian copper 3 kopeck coins minted that year during the reign of the last Russian Czar Nicholas II (1894-1917). Collector value may be worth about $1 with heavy wear to around $10 with moderate wear to maybe $17 with light wear. A young collector may find it a prize.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
