Coin and Paper Money Collecting/British penny

Question
Hi Brad,  I have a 1906 British penny with Edward (6th?) on the back. His head is facing to the right whereas I noticed the later pennies the head was facing to the left. How much do you think it is worth?  It is in good condition.

Many thanks, Linda

Answer
Hi Linda, British monarchs traditionally face opposite directions than the preceding one.
There were 38 million minted that year featuring King Edward VII (1901-10). Collector value may be worth about .25 with heavy wear to around $5 with moderate wear to maybe $25 with light wear.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
