Question
I have a quarter that is from 1990 and it is colored red. I have looked to find out if there is any information on this coing and i cannot seem to find anything. It is in pretty good condition and everything on the coin other then the mottos and photos are in red. everything else is in silver.

Answer
Many of the state quarters were "colorized" after they were made.  This really added no value, as anyone could do it again.  You might try going to www.ebay.com and doing a search for colorized quarter and see if anyone is selling any and what they are asking for it, and even more importantly if anyone is actually bidding, hope this helped, Jim Lawniczak
