Question
Hi Brad just wanted to see if you could tell me anything about a coin I have, It's a 10? not sure what the unit is but its from republika ceskoslovenska and its 1926, its in rather good shape for its age. There is a picture of looks like some sort of lion on one side and the other side has a picture of a arch bridge, any info would be greatly appreciated. The coins is one that my son who collects coins found in his change here in Canada, and he would like a little information to write next to the coin in his collectors book. Thanks for any help?info you may have. John

Answer
Hi John, There were 10 million of these bronze Czechoslovakia 10 haleru coins minted that year featuring the Charles Bridge in Prague. Collector value may be worth about .10 with heavy wear to around .35 with moderate wear to maybe .75 with light wear to perhaps $2.50 if uncirculated (no wear).
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
