Question
Can you tell me the approximate value of an 1926 2 KRONER coin, on the side with the date at the bottom it reads HCN. [heart] GJ.
The coin appears to  have has some wear, but all the letters, numbers and figures easily read. It is made in an alloy that resembles gold.
    Thank you, Hayward

Answer
Hi Hayward, There were 1.1 million of these Danish 2 Kroner coins minted that year in Copenhagen during the reign of King Christian X (1912-47).
Collector value may be worth about .30 with heavy wear to around $15 with moderate wear to maybe $50 with light wear.
You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
