Hi, I wonder if you could tell me anything about the above coin and also its approximate value, please see photo. I have it listed on ebay and have had some offers which makes me think it could be worth something.

Hi Dennis, it is one of the regular nickel-brass 1 Pound pieces minted for circulation. It may be worth about $2 to $3.50 depending on amount of wear and collector demand.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
