Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Gulden value

Hi Brad. My mom has a 2.5 gulden note. Date on the note is 8 aug 1949 with Queen Juliana on it. Also, she has a 1 gulden note with the same date and queen.
Would greatly appreciate it if you could a value to it. I have not seen them and can therfor not say in what state they are.

Hi Willem, Collector value of a note depends on date, denomination (face value), series letter or signature and condition, including amount of wear, any folds, tears or stains as well as collector demand.
The Dutch 1 Gulden note collector value may be worth about .25 with heavy wear to around $1 with moderate wear to maybe $4 with light wear.
The 2-1/2 Gulden may be worth about .25, $1.50, $5 in the same conditions as listed above.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
