Question

Saudi Coins
Good morning Brad. Two Saudi coins - could you please help with denomination and date. Can you please tell me the year difference - think it is around 560 odd years between muslim and christian dates. Many thanks. Helen

Answer
Hi Helen, these two copper-nickel 10 halala coins are dated 1392 (1972) and 1400 (1979). They are worth about .25-.50 with that amount of wear.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
