Question
Hello,
I just found some of my old coins in my garage and i was wondering what a couple were worth. I have a 1936 10 centavos with a M on it by the year and arrow like symbols all the wa around it. On the other side there is the eagle grasping the snake and standing on the cactus. thank you

Answer
Hi Joe, There were 33 million of these copper-nickel Mexican 10 centavos coins minted in Mexico City (Mo) that year featuring the natural symbol and Aztec stone symbols. The design was used through 1946. Collector value may be worth about .10 with heavy wear to around .75 with moderate wear to maybe $2.50 with light wear.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
