Coin and Paper Money Collecting/$1 misprint

Question
I have a $1 1963A Series bill. The misprint is located on the back. It looks like a double edge...kind of hard to explain. If you were to put a dollar bill 1/4" away from the edge of another bill , just enough to see some green, that is what the misprint looks like. Just wondering if there was any value to it. The bill is in good/very good condition.  Thanks

Answer
Hi Karen, Error value depends on date, type and extent of the error as well as amount of folds or wear and collector demand. This may be worth about $50 or more.
You might try the following Paper Money Errors links:

http://www.usmintquarters.com/currencyerrors.htm
You may also find similar pieces on Ebay.com for comparison.
You might take it by a local coin shop for a first hand opinion: http://find.mapmuse.com/interest/coin_dealers .
