Question
Hello:  I have a coin that reads Wilhelmina Koningin Der Nederlanden on the front, the reverse reads, Munt Van Het Koningrijk Der Nederlanden 1933   2 1/2    G.  what might this be worth?

Answer
Hi Donald, There were 3.56 million of these Dutch 2-1/2 Gulden coins minted that year featuring Queen Wilhelmina (1890-1948). This coin should weigh 25.0 grams and would contain .5787 of an ounce of silver. Collector value may currently be worth about $10 with heavy wear to around $12 with moderate wear to maybe $15 with light wear.
You might try Ebay.com for similar pieces for comparison.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
