Coin and Paper Money Collecting/1943 copper penny that sticks to metal

Question
i have this penny and heard about it how much are they offering now

Answer
I assume you mean that your cent sticks to a magnet not just to any metal.  If it does, that's proof that it is indeed not copper but rather steel, so that it is just one of the many many millions of steel cents that was made in 1943 and someone coated it with a copper color coating.  If that is true, it would not have any value (other than as a cent), but would be an interesting novelty, Jim Lawniczak
