I have a 1952 Elizabeth 11regina south Africa suid afrika coin, my stepgrandfather came Greece in 1953,was in war I thought in Greece. no damage,or cleaning,no hole. Can you tell me more of the history of this coin. It does say 1953,not 1952.

Hi Mary, it may be worth .10 with heavy wear to $2 with no wear (uncirculated).
It features British Queen Elizabeth II (1953-) and Sir Francis Drake's flagship Dromedaris.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
