Question
i found this coin at work,,as it got a value to it,,.the coins a bit worn, but the details are still visable

Answer
Hi Gary, This French 2 Francs coin featuring Emperor Napoleon III (1852-70) should weigh 10 grams and would contain .2893 of an ounce of silver. Collector value may be worth about $5 with heavy wear to around $25 with moderate wear to maybe $75 with light wear.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
