Is there any information about this particular mis-strike?

That is known as an off-center strike error.  A relatively common striking error that occurs when a blank does not get fully inserted into the press.  Yours is only about 10% off-center -- collectors look for those that are about 50% off-center.  Value yours at about a dollar.
