Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Bicentennial Quarter with unusual marking

Question

Reverse of Bincentenni
To whom it may concern, I recently found this Bicentennial Quarter in a roll of Quarters I got from the bank. Having just recently got back into collecting coins from when I was young, I have been unable to classify the detail which this coin posesses. The front has what appears to be a crater under the chin. Outlining the chin and continuing down the neck line. On the reverse side there is what appears to be an identical shape created on the right top shoulder of the drummer. If you were to flip the coin from left to right the indentation occurred in the same spot as the obverse side. I thought it might have been done during the punching of the coin... What do you think? Is it an error, what type? Am I holding on to a winning lottery ticket? ha ha ha... Thank you for taking the time to help me.

Answer
It's tough to say from the picture but I may be a delamination error wherby there was a gas bubble between the layers and when the ides struck the coin, the gas escaped and left a crater.  Just a guess on my part, but I will tell you that you didn't hit lotto.

Sorry I could be more definitive, but i feel good about my assessment.

Good Luck
