Question
My question is where can I take my coins to have them graded and certified (PCGS?) in the Pasadena, CA area? How much would it cost to have coins graded? I have a number of coins in the old Blue Backs from when my father started me collecting in the 1950s. I have a lot of loose coins that I have no idea whether they are valuable or not and don't want to just walk in anywhere and be taken advantage of because of my lack of knowledge. Thanks!

Being from Michigan, about all I can do is point you to the ANA list of Pasadena dealers :

You should contact more than one dealer and compare results.
If you don't want to go that route, then you may want to try to find a coin club in your area :
