Question
I have a gold coin in a case that has never been opened and on the front
it has a picture r George Washington and says " United States
Presidential Bicentennial. 1789-1989" on the back it has the eagle with
the branch in the left foot and bows and arrows in his right( I think) he
has a shield across his chest , a ribbon in his mouth, and like a gold
neclace with something round and made to seem bright in the middle of
the neclace. At the bottom it says "Great Seal" and across the top it has
USA spelled out. .. whew... now that I've described it can you tell me
what you think it might be worth??

Answer
Hi Jill,

I show no reference to a gold coin being minted that matches your description.  Since you did not mention a denomination such as $5 or $10, I assume it is not ststed.
If this is the case, it is not a coin at all.  It is a bicentennial medal.  They were struck in brass or bronze.  They were packaged in a black plastic case.
There is very little market for these but check eBay for similar items.

Good Luck
