Question
I have two 1924 peace dollars with the mint mark D. on them. I cant seem to find any info about the coin, value if it is a error or what. I know the D. is for Denver, but thats about all I know. Can you tell me where I may find info and value or can you tell me. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Bud,
Yes, the D is for Denver.  1924-D Peace dollars in circulated condition are quite common.  Average circulated pieces sell for about $23-25
Mint condition coins trade for anywhere from $35 up to about $300 depending upon quality.
