Question
i have a 1936 mercury dime and at the end of the word one their is a mark D.its not in the best condition and was woundering what the value might be.i also have a half dollar on the front it has a picture of jfk 1776 to 1976 and on the back has a picture of independence hall on the back what does that mean and is it worth anything?

Answer
Hello,
The half dollar is only worth 50 cents.  It was struck in 1976 to commemorate America's bicentennial.
As for the dime, since it is silver, it is worth about $1.20.  The "D" makes no difference in the value sinc ethe coin is in circulated condition.
