Question
I just purchased a few rolls of junk silver. Found 5 dimes with
burrs at on edge. All are alike and the face and back are NOT mashed this extra metal is at 1:00 ,5:00 , 7:00 and 11:00 if you vu the coin as a clock face.Sticks out so far I had a hard time
getting them out of the plastic tubes. Is this something you have seen before,is it common and if not does it make them more valuable than 90% silver content? Found roll 1993 dimes, appears uncirculated would anyone collect these or just 90% value?

Answer
The coins with the burr were probably part of a bracelet that was soldered together.  I have seen that many times.  However without being able to inspect the coins, I can't guarantee that is what you have.
As for the roll of 1993 dimes, they are only worth face value as they are not silver.
