Question
I have a privately minted silver coin (the size of a silver dollar) that is 24 k gold plated. It was issued for the operation sail in NYC to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the statue of Liberty. On the front it has the statue of liberty etc. on the reverse it has and eagle and the words "the graham award"
is this worth anything?

Collector interest in this item will be minimal. Value will be based mostly on what the metal under the gold plating is. If silver, then it's current value will be $25-$30 -- if not silver, it's value will be a dollar or two, if you can find a buyer.
