Question
1909 with no "In God We Trust"
1909 with no "In God W
Dear Sir, after a bit of research I found out(think) that this is not a Error... David Brenner's Original Design did not include
motto "In God We Trust" President Roosevelt had approved it!!
and Taft saw it with and without the Motto and choose one with it.
Many Pre-Production models were made and left the MINT to be
shown to Elite Congressmen....did they ever make it Back?

Help? Advise? Did I find a RARE Penny in a Bank Roll?

Answer
I can't see anything from the picture but the coin seems to be extremely well worn.  It's possible that the motto just wore away or was purposely removed.
Another option is that it was a pattern coin, one that was never placed into circulation.  But that is not probable since your coin is badly worn.
