Coin and Paper Money Collecting/1973 us penny

Question
I have a 1973 us penny that is very clear struck on the front but the back side is smooth with a very blurry picture of the normal picture that is on the back of the penny. Is it worth anything?

Answer
There are a few ways that an error like that can occur.  I suggest you have the coin inspected by a professional who knows error coins.  It is not something we can do without physical inspection.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.  Check the phone book for a dealer near you.
