ADDED Features.I did show it someone who collects and he said
"The Roof of the Prouduction Print HiT it" and there must be many like it.Another friend who collects said "Its not the Roof of the
MINT HEAD that hit its,its a Handling Error. After it left the Process of being HIT for the Coating Part something created that
impressions. And there aren't going to be Many like it..perhaps 2-3
at the most.." What your thoughts on this,Sir? Is this a US MINT
ERROR? Everything the brick type dents are all coated with Zinc.
Help? Need your Advise. And Whats it Worth?

ANSWER: Mizra:

The only thing I see is on Lincoln's head, and it looks like it cold be a small number of die breaks, which would be raised, and not dents. Dents lend themselves to after minting damage and not a mint error. You don't indicate what the back looks like. In any case, if an actual die break error, it is minor in nature, with thousands to tens of thousands or more, and of little value.

You may want to check ebay listings under US coins in the error category to see what these errors are going for. You may also want to check out these links on error coin values:

If you live close to a local shop, they should offer an opinion as to it's value and if it is authentic at no charge. Always try and get at least two opinions and try and deal with PNG dealers if possible. Here's a link to find one in your area: http://www.pngdealers.com/dealersearch.php

QUESTION: Sir,Thanks for your prompt reply.I am including the Back image
of the coin. The Marking on the FACE of Lincon are not RAISED the are (Strange Dents).Whats alarming about this that they are Zinc coated
as being Part of the Coin.Sure,if Dents occur after the MINTING
Process...it would be worthless. But,repeat, they are all coated and
SHINE as the Penny Shines under Light,or sunshine. Please, notice the
Added Button on Lincolns Jacket(its not suppose to be there)it did
create a slight Bluish Glow as well.

Answer
Mirza:

Back looks normal. Some reasons why your coin may be dented and still plated. (1) damaged blank prior to copper plating, striking and leaving mint, but somehow struck. (2) Damage happening after coin struck and some type of plating or coloring applied after it left the mint by an outside source. In either case DAMAGE, not an error, and not provable or worth any added premium in my opinion.

Continued good luck in your collecting.
