Above the shields; Initiatvs Berolini  D. XXII MAII MDCCCXL. Please, Country, Year, Commemoration and Value. Bronce, 45mm. Thnks.

Answer
Hi again Ramon,
The first medal is from Belgium, dated 1825. This celebrates the marriage between Prince Frederic of Belgium and Princess Louisse of Prussia. I have seen a few of them come up for sale in the past, value on the European market is around 50 euro.
The second medal is from the German state of Prussia and dated 1840. This pictures Kaiser Wilhelm as protector of the Masonic order. This is a more interesting one because of the affiliation with the Masons. I have not seen any at auction, and the value is difficult to determine. It would likely be worth more to a collector of Masonic items than a collector of German medals.
Thanks again for the question! =)

Expertise

My specialty is world coins from the 18th to 20th centuries, primarily non-US foreign coins and related areas such as errors and exonumia (tokens, medals, etc.). I can answer questions relating to identification, grading, selling, preservation and evaluation of such items. In addition to catalog value, I can give you the practical market value and trends for specific types of coins. I will also take questions regarding counterfeits (both modern and antique) and on how to identify them. I am NOT knowledgeable in paper money/banknotes, ancient or "shipwreck" coins. Thank you.

Experience

Collector of world coins since early childhood. Access to a variety of auction records and reference material. You can also find me on Facebook.
