Question
1958 DDO Obverse (Example LCR)
1958 DDO Obverse (Exam
Dear Sir, I found a 1958 Penny. Its in a VF Condition.I checked the site on Linclonresourcecenter for a Pic of the DDO 1958 and looked very similar. It is also very RARE! All the numbers and In God We Trust is FAT and sticking out.
But the one's that have been found show doubling on the letters LIBERTY and In God We Trust.
Is it Possible to Have a DDO of that Age,without any (CLEAR-DOUBLING-Effect),another Variety,Perhaps?
I also recently found a 1937 Penny A DDO!! and it does not have any Doubling a G-4 Condition.
And without the Doubling Effect how can one Tell that it is a DDO?
A miscroscope? Should it Weight different?
I compared the 1958 with a 1959 in Size and Thickness of Letters and Shapes and I see clearly that the 1958's letters have more Metal on them and are thicker, even the figure of Linclons has more Density on it.
Has anoyone found a 1958 DDO without the DOUBLING EFFECT on the LIBERTY and in GOD WE TRUST?  God Bless,Merry Christmas and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Answer
Beck:

As I've said before, there are thousands of die varieties on the Lincoln cent, and most are not RARE. The attached photo of the 1958 DDO does not help me to verify your coin. I'm not aware of any other verified I958 doubled dies. You need to contact those sites and the experts I provided you.

The 1937 must have some die doubling for it to classify as an error in that category. The weight will be the same. A magnifier with a 14X to 20X power should provide enough power to verify the die doubling.
