Is this a DDO Penny? I believe it might be.

Hi John,
The 1983 double die had the reverse doubled. What you have, appears to me, to be a die shift, not a double die. However, I am looking at a slightly blurry photo.
That said, contact Numismatic Guarantee Corporation in Sarasota Florida.
For a fee, they will inspect the coin and if genuine, will certify it and encapsulate it. You would need to do that if you decide to sell anyway so why not now?
