Question
1998 Penny Letter Errors.
1998 Penny Letter Erro
Dear Sir, I found this in a ROLL.. They say if you cant see the error with your naked eyes,It may not be even worth it.I see clearly the ToP Letter "In God We Trust" are'nt normal.

What your Advise?
Is it worth any value?

I realize its Blob city,but...well?

God Bless
Beck,
Kissmmee FL
PS:I am sending in the Front image,if you think the Back image is important I'll send it in,as well.

Answer
Beck:

Took photo and enlarged it. I believe what you see as the top of the letters "In God We Trust" being different is actually the damage or corrosion of the copper plating to the zinc cent core, and not error lettering. I do not believe it to have any added numismatic value.

Continue searching those coins. I'm sure you'll come up with a nice error in time.

Best of Luck with your collecting.
