Question
Thanks in advance for your time to answer this message.

I want toknow about theese dollar coins i have in my possession for years now.
They are one dollar coins from 1971-1978 and i would like to know how much are they worth in the market? I know there are different types so how do i know wich i have?

Also have half dollar coins from 1967-1974. Please answer on the same questions.

Yours truly,

Miguel

Answer
Hello Miguel,
The silver dollars dated between 1971 and 1978 are not silver and are only worth $1.

However, the half dollars are a different story. The ones dated 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970 are part silver and worth about $3-4 each.  1971 and after have no silver and are only worth 50 cents each.

Merry Christmas!

Regards
Joe
