Coin and Paper Money Collecting/Coin question

Question
QUESTION: One of my family members has one of the US dollar coins (its one of the really recent ones but I can't remember which president it is or if it has Lady Liberty on it) and the coin has no date printed. On all of the other coins he has of the US presidents/Lady Liberty coins they all have the date printed right beside their head.

I was wondering if this was worth any value? If so how much?
Thanks!

ANSWER: I need to know the date of the coin.  On the new dollar coins, the date is on the edge.

QUESTION: There is no date on the coin whatsoever.

Answer
Hi,

Since there is no date, I have to guess that the coin depicts George Washington, the first president of the US.
That was an error.  The edge should have the date and motto "In God We Trust".  However quite a few of the original mintage was missing that information.
These became known as "Godless Dollars" due to the lack of the motto.

I have seen these trade for anywhere between $30 and $100 on eBay.
