Question

Spain 100 Pesetas 1988
Hello, and thank you for your time.
I have a Spain 100 Pesetas 1988 ,but it's differ from KM 826 .
how much is it worth now?

Answer
Hi ZhenDong,
This is actually a regular coin that has an added border. This would have been made by a private company and been part of a set of coins from different European countries, all with an extra border that had the title at the top and the name of the country at the bottom.
Since it is in Spanish it is from either a Spanish or Latin American set.
Unfortunately, there would not be much of a value on the coin by itself.
Thanks for the question! =)

Expertise

My specialty is world coins from the 18th to 20th centuries, primarily non-US foreign coins and related areas such as errors and exonumia (tokens, medals, etc.). I can answer questions relating to identification, grading, selling, preservation and evaluation of such items. In addition to catalog value, I can give you the practical market value and trends for specific types of coins. I will also take questions regarding counterfeits (both modern and antique) and on how to identify them. I am NOT knowledgeable in paper money/banknotes, ancient or "shipwreck" coins. Thank you.
