Question
the coin i have has a shield looking object on the front with six blocks stacked 3 on the bottom 2 in the middle and one on top and this is at the bottom inside the shield, on top of the shield is a hat with a few stripes on it with a cross on top. under the hat but on top of the shield are two flags with crosses cut into them. on the back of the coin is a dove with a branch in its mouth. the dove is facing sideways with its wings spread as if it were landing. on the branch there are about 12 leaves in total the lettering on the shield side (around the shield) is pavlvs.vi.p.m. a.xiv.mcmlxxvi. where i put the dots are stars except on the p.m. please help me figure out what kind of coin i have. thank you.

This is a coin from Vatican City, made in 1976 wihen the pope was Paul VI. They made these for several years, all of which are quyite comon. Since it is a fairly recent coin, the value will be only a few dollars in mint condition.
