I FOUND A 1982 OFF COLOR GOLD TINT PENNY AND LOOKED IT UP ON GOOGLE AND FOUND YOU TALKING TO ANOTHER PERSON ABOUT BRING IT TO A COLLECTOR TO SEE IF THE PEENY CAME FROM THE MINT THAT WAY OR IF SOMEONE DID THIS TO THE PENNY CAN YOU TELL ME IF THERE IS SOMEONE I CAN BRING THIS PENNY TO TO SEE IF THIS PENNY CAME FROM THE MINT THIS WAS IN MY AREA I LIVE IN OCALA FLORIDA AND MY ZIP CODE IS 32134 ,,, THANK YOU FOR YOU TIME

Hi John,
What color is it?  They made two types of pennies in 1982.  One was copper and the other was zinc with a copper coloring.
Is it possible that the copper color has worn off or was removed?
