Coin and Paper Money Collecting/silver dime

Question
I have a 1952 silver dime. About how much is it worth.  Also I have a lot of wheat pennies.  Do they bring any value? I have an unstamped penny as well.  I read the Q & A on the unstamped penny and I have no idea how to tell what type it is.  What is the most rare wheat penny to find?  I could probably ask questions all day, lol.  I have been a fan of collecting wheat pennies and other rare coins since I was small.  Thank you.

Answer
Hi Shanna,

Your 1952 dime is currently worth $2.40 -- based on the current price of silver.

Common wheat pennies are worth about 2.5 cents apiece.

Your unstamped penny is worth a dollar or two.

The most rare wheat penny is the 1909 with an "S" mintmark on the front and the "VDB" initials on the back.

I hope this helps,

Expertise

My strong familiarity with all U.S. Mint coins, extensive reference library, and close relationships with many other dealers allows me to identify just about any coin made in the USA. I receive regular updates to all the current price guides -- both wholesale & retail -- to provide accurate values. So, with a good description or pictures, I should be able to identify and value any U.S. coin you have.
