Hello Dear Sir, I started collecting USA pennys only about 90 days ago!! am Unemployed so something to do? Yet!! I have come across a whole lot of error Pennys listed on my FACEBOOK page

MY question? after 15,000.00 pennys under my magnifying glass
and bouncing them on the marble floor I have a 1978 USA penny (fair) condition! which bounces like a ordinary (ZINC) penny I tried again .....and Again...and my ear's cant lie!! its DEAD!! Copper Pennys of the same exact time make a distict Melodic sound
yet..this one is DEAD!! WHY? Did find a $100,000.00 penny or more!! God Bless! I hope I did!! Amen!!

Mirza, don't just bounce them off the floor, compare weights. The former copper cent, made through 1982 weighs more than the copper covered zinc cent made since 1982. Thus compare the weight of your 1978 cent to one from before 1982 and also one after 1982.
