How would I find out if this is an authentic coin and not an imitation? I already know it is gold but not what percentage it is.

Hi Shane,
If it is genuine, it is 22k gold and contains .12 oz. of pure gold.
Unfortunately, if you are not experience is viewing genuine and counterfeit coins, you probably can't tell the difference. Bring it to a knowledgeable coin dealer.
