Question
First off thank you for your time. i have a 1937 Indian head coin it is a e class with the class printed on top of the back of the bison. i was just wondering what it might be worth. the date is easy to see and i looked at it under a scope to make sure it was an e.

Answer
Hi Chris,
1937 is a common year for buffalo nickels.  The mint didn't strike coins as "e" class.  My guess is that someone punched the "e" into the coin.

To the best of my knowledge, it has no more value than a 1937 Buffalo Nickel, about 60 cents.

Regards
Joe
