Answer
Hi Paul:

Thanks for your question. This was a tough one for me to answer, and I wasn't able to find out a lot of information, but rather than not answer, felt at least I should give you what I found. First, I don't know anything about this specific series. There were a number of private mints in the 1980's, when silver began it's first rise to the $50 a troy ounce mark. Today, most of them are gone. The Franklin Mint was probably the best known, with Danbury and Hamilton the lesser known.

I found one listing of a closed item like yours that may help you as well as a contact for possible information and/or sale. I hope this helps. See: http://www.gomotorbids.com/LotDetail.cfm?Lot_ID=1066703 and http://www.exonumia.com/frankbuy.htm

You may want to check US coins and currency listings under exonumia on eBay from time to time to see if your medals are listed what these type of items may bring. Most of these items trade at or clode to melt value, and have no real collector value to speak of.

If you live close to a local shop, they should offer an opinion as to the value at no charge. Always try and get at least two opinions and try and deal with PNG dealers if possible. If you should decide to sell your items to a dealer, remember they will offer about 50% to 60% of the retail value. Here's a link to find one in your area: http://www.pngdealers.com/dealersearch.php ors.

Thank You and Good Luck in your collecting.
