Question
My grandson found a wheat penny that has a misprint. It has the wheat on both sides and no Lincoln at all or date. On one side it is up and down when you turn it over it goes side to side. Can you give me any information you can on this penny.

It's a manufactured novelty item known as a magician's coin, made by altering two normal coins and gluing the pieces back together. Use a strong magnifier and check just inside the raised rim on both sides, looking for the seam where the two halves are joined.
These have a novelty value of a dollar or two.
