Question
i have a 1954 coin on one side it has 10 NORGE ORE on the other side it has a crown on top of what looks to be a 7. Also have a 1922 coin 50 CES CONGO BELGE the other side has ABERT ROI DES BELGES

Answer
Hi Nate,
The first coin is a 10 ore from Norway and the second is a 50 centimes from Congo under Belgian rule. Both are fairly common coins and worth just a dollar or two if they are in used condition. If they have no signs of wear and have bright shiny luster, the Norway coin will be worth up to $10 and the Belgian Congo coin up to $50. The Congo coin will also be worth around $10 if it has just a little bit of wear.
Thanks for the question! =)

Expertise

My specialty is world coins from the 18th to 20th centuries, primarily non-US foreign coins and related areas such as errors and exonumia (tokens, medals, etc.). I can answer questions relating to identification, grading, selling, preservation and evaluation of such items. In addition to catalog value, I can give you the practical market value and trends for specific types of coins. I will also take questions regarding counterfeits (both modern and antique) and on how to identify them. I am NOT knowledgeable in paper money/banknotes, ancient or "shipwreck" coins. Thank you.

Collector of world coins since early childhood. Access to a variety of auction records and reference material. You can also find me on Facebook.
