Question
I want see if you can tell me value for coin
I have morgan 1888 o vam 15 I find highest grade on line AU and thats sold for almost $1000
they coin I have morgan 1888 0 vam15 and ms64 grade it by pcgs it might one of kind in that high grade tell me what you think?

Answer
Mazi,

There is no price guide for something like that.  The value of something as unique as what you have can only be determined by auction through a national auction house like Heritage, Superior, or Stacks.  They can properly advertise it to the elite VAM collectors out there.

I can throw a number out there to you, but it really wouldn't mean much.  Certainly thousands of dollars, but how many can only be determined by actual bids by interested collectors.

I hope this (somewhat) helps,

Dan

Expertise

My strong familiarity with all U.S. Mint coins, extensive reference library, and close relationships with many other dealers allows me to identify just about any coin made in the USA. I receive regular updates to all the current price guides -- both wholesale & retail -- to provide accurate values. So, with a good description or pictures, I should be able to identify and value any U.S. coin you have.

Experience

I've been a coin dealer since the 1980's and a coin collector since the 1960's. I specialize in U.S. Silver Coins and have an active online website -- The Working Man's Rare Coins -- http://www.workingmancoins.com -- offering information and inventory in U.S. coins.
