Question
i have an 1898 silver coin it has no mark of s d or o but it is miss marked on the back it looks like a beak is coming out the bottom of the coin between the words one and dollar is this coin worth more because of the miss mark and if so how much ? thank you dawn

Answer
Hello Dawn,

I am guessing that this is a Morgan Dollar? The ones minted in Philadelphia did not have a mint mark. I would need to see the coin to give you information about the error.
